James B. sent in a series of questions about Seventh-day Adventists:
Q: Does the Sabbath save you?
A: No. Jesus saves you. In fact, the Sabbath is a sign of resting in Jesus (see Hebrews 4:1-10). He is our Creator and Redeemer. The seventh-day Sabbath is His day — the Lord’s Day, and He is the One who sanctified and made it holy (Genesis 2:2,3). He invites each of us to “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8-11). An excellent book on the subject is “When God Said Remember,” by Mark Finley.
